Choose an access model that suits your strategy.
Volunteers can be provided access in one of three ways:
1) Closed access. The system can only be used on specific computers, generally at campaign headquarters, house meetings, senior centers... where staff is on-hand to supervise.
2) By request or invitation. While access is web-wide, you must authorize a volunteer to use the system.
3) Open access. Anyone with web access is allowed to register and use the system.
All options require that the volunteer provide their name, email address, phone and zip code. We've also developed some innovative and very dependable ways to prevent malicious use of the system. Please call for details, as we don't discuss security strategies on our public website.
Match the look & feel of your website.
As most FF&N sites will be accessed via a link from your campaign website, you can keep the look consistent. The website header and background image or color are easily configurable to exactly match any color scheme. If you don't have a website, you can direct volunteers to 'ffandn.com/yourname.'
Control the content.
All instructions, descriptions, issue positions, default text - anything except headings, labels and tech-help - are created and maintained by the campaign. You can use our simple HTML (web-ready) editor or use an external program to design and modify these areas. You can also define the many customization choices including:
- How do we code the support, leaning, etc. preference ID?
- What action checkboxes do we display? (volunteer, lawn-sign, absentee ballot request, etc.)
- What is the suggested default card message?
Easily manage the data.
All information entered by the volunteers is easily exported to industry-standard MS-Excel format. This is how the personal card info can be transmitted to your mail vendor or mailing software. You might also import IDs, issue preferences, wants-to-donate info and more to your campaign management database.
Invite everyone.
Your FF&N website was designed for ease-of-use by people with all levels of computer skill and experience. Text is large and easy to read, & help and instructions are available at all times. Support contact info will display our phone & email for site assistance, and yours for campaign-related questions.
